Job summary

The Riverside Church in the City of New York is seeking a collaborative and organized Part-Time Worship Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of worship services and congregational life events.

Working with clergy, staff, volunteers, and ministry partners, you will help ensure that worship experiences are welcoming, meaningful, and well executed, reflecting Riverside's commitment to hospitality, justice, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity required and committed to Christian ministry.
• Experience coordinating worship services and events.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide worship support for weekly services and special services, including baptisms, communion, and other congregational worship events.
• Coordinate pieces across church departments for weekly worship and major seasonal programs (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, etc.).
• Develop planning timelines, communication plans, and logistical systems for well-organized worship services.
• Troubleshoot worship logistics and serve as a coordinating point among clergy, staff, volunteers, musicians, and congregants.
