Job summary

Riverside Church in New York is seeking an Executive Minister to lead strategy, program oversight, and clergy development. You will supervise clergy and program staff, partner with senior leadership, and guide organizational policy and culture with a focus on equity and inclusion.

You will participate in leadership planning, coordinate church-wide learning, and drive effectiveness across multiple programs to fulfill Riverside’s mission and commitments.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity degree required.
• Experience in managing or leading programs in a nonprofit/religious setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Clergy and Program Staff on behalf of Senior Minister.
• Participates in leadership meetings with the Senior Minister and COO.
• Leads staff development, performance monitoring, and accountability.
• Develops organizational policies and cross-functional partnerships.
