Job summary

Riverwood Community Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to help lead our congregation in Christ-centered worship through music. Riverwood is a Converge-affiliated evangelical church with approximately 150–200 people in weekly attendance, committed to biblical teaching, relational community, and reaching our local area with the love of Christ.

Qualifications

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with Riverwood's faith.
• Strong vocal ability; able to lead worship from guitar or piano.
• Experience leading congregational worship in a band setting preferred.
• Familiarity with modern worship technology (ProPresenter, streaming).

Responsibilities

• Lead congregational worship during weekly Sunday services.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan music that supports the message and service.
• Recruit, schedule, and develop volunteer musicians, vocalists, display board operators (ProPresenter), sound techs, and stream operators.
• Help create a worship environment that emphasizes congregational participation.
• Coordinate production volunteers and ministry leaders.
• Prepare music charts, lyric slides, and service plans.
• Grow professionally, spiritually, and musically; and provide opportunities and encouragement for your team to do the same.
