Marketplace Chaplains is seeking part-time chaplains to support employees and families in NY worksites. You will visit client sites weekly, provide confidential pastoral care, and coordinate referrals for additional services.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and with diverse beliefs.
• Strong listening and communication skills, including presentations.
• Diplomacy, patience, and courtesy in interactions.
• Ability to document accurately and handle confidential issues.
• Proficiency with Google Suites or Microsoft Office.
• Valid state driver’s license and appropriate insurance.

Responsibilities

• Visit company worksites weekly to build relationships with employees.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employee and family issues.
• Coordinate referrals for specialized assistance as needed.
• Plan or attend funerals and provide post-termination care when required.
• Support employee care services during life events and crises.
• Represent the ministry to clients and participate in new employee orientation.
• Respond to executive leadership requests within the agreement scope.
