Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks caring Chaplains to serve employees and families across client sites in the United States. This remote field role involves regular visits to worksites (often weekly) and providing confidential pastoral support in a Christian ministry context.

You will offer spiritual care, referrals, and grief support while respecting diverse beliefs. Prioritize relationship-building, confidentiality, and compassionate service in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Has ability to work in interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting.
• Skills to listen and interact with clients, employees, and families; deliver community presentations.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and MCHAP values.
• Demonstrated diplomacy and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication to leadership, colleagues, employees, and families.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities; interpret policy and keep others informed.
• Proficient with Google Suites and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Visit company worksites regularly to interact with employees and build relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employees and immediate family members.
• Provide referral services and coordinate specialized assistance.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals for employees and families; offer follow-up support.
• May visit jails or other sites as needed.
• Notify families of deaths or serious injuries; support affected employees.
• Provide post-termination care to ease transitions.
• Share literature and resources to assist employees with life issues.
• Represent the ministry to clients; participate in new employee orientation.
