Job summary

CSN Henderson Campus is seeking a part-time Welding Technology Instructor to deliver lecture and lab sessions across daytime, evenings, and weekend slots. The role is a 47.5% full‑time equivalent, exempt position with in-person instruction.

The instructor will develop curricula, assess student skill mastery, and advise a diverse student body while using Canvas and other classroom technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in welding technology.
• Preferred CWE, CWI, SCWI, NDT, NCCER Instructor Credentials, OSHA 10 or 30.
• Welding Technology degree or equivalent.
• One year equivalent full-time teaching experience.
• Experience with diverse/multicultural student body.
• Proficiency with Canvas and classroom technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lecture and lab instruction for Welding Technology courses.
• Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and safety.
• Develop syllabi and course materials aligned to curriculum.
• Assess student mastery of skills and course outcomes.
• Provide instruction and advisement for diverse learners.
• Participate in staff meetings and recruitment activities.
