Job summary

CSN in Henderson, NV seeks a lab support technician for Welding Technologies labs. Provide technical support for both scheduled and open labs, assist instructors and students with operating specialized welding equipment, and help prepare labs.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, verifying equipment operation, and maintaining inventory levels for class sessions; work with full-time faculty to plan and prepare labs.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and PAC welding machines.
• Proficient with an Oxy-fuel system and related welding tools.
• Experience verifying proper equipment operation and performing equipment maintenance.

Salary & Work Schedule

Hourly pay: $17.00. Tentative schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 8:00PM. Exempt. Full‑time equivalent: 48.8%.
