Job summary

Qualifications

• Welding Certifications or Equivalents preferred.
• Welding Technology AAS degree or related degree preferred.
• One-year full-time teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems preferred.

Teach pre-approved CSN Jumpstart Classes at your high school incoordination with the CSN Dual Credit Office.

Job Description

• Lecture and lab instruction
• Instruct students in accordance with the curriculum standardsand objectives
• Independently grade and prepare progress reports in accordancewith school policy.
• Evaluate the performance of students regarding achievements incurriculum and activities and make necessary provisions to meetlearning needs.
• Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensureadherence with safety precautions.

Required Qualifications

• Applicants must be pre-approved by the Department of AppliedTechnology before applying in Workday.
• 5 years of work-related experience.
• CCSD Business and Industry License or Secondary EducationTeaching License.

Preferred Requirements

• CWE, CWI, SCWI, NDT Certifications, NCCER InstructorCredentials, OSHA 10, OSHA 30
• Welding Technology AAS degree or related degree
• One-year full-time teaching experience
• Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
• Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
• Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student bodyand/or workforce

Jumpstart Salary

$1000.00 per class per semester
