Job summary

College of Southern Nevada (CSN) invites applications for a part-time Diesel Technology Lecturer at the North Las Vegas Campus. In-person courses are scheduled during day, afternoon, and evening sessions to fit student needs.

You will deliver lectures and labs, assess student mastery of required outcomes, provide lab safety training, and advise students. You may participate in curriculum development and campus activities, with background check as applicable.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the Diesel Heavy Truck/Equipment Industry.
• Knowledge of diesel technology and equipment certification requirements.
• Familiarity with Canvas or other Learning Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Diesel Technology courses.
• Provide Lab Safety Training.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide advisement to students.
• Participate in program and curriculum development as requested.
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested.
