Responsibilities

  • Health and safety: Make health and safety the top priority by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, and by working safely at all times.
  • Waste packaging: Package waste correctly to improve efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Workplace housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and orderly.
  • Spill response: Support spill response activities at customer sites when required.
  • Compliance meetings: Attend all required compliance and safety update meetings.
  • Drum inspection: Inspect drums to ensure container integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Forklift operation: Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with site procedures.
  • Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload waste hauling vehicles.
  • Waste sampling: Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling when needed.
  • Regulatory compliance: Follow all local, state or provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
  • Vehicle operation: Operate vehicles safely in accordance with U.S. DOT and applicable local, state, provincial, and federal requirements.
  • Company procedures: Follow all corporate operating guidelines, procedures, and environmental health and safety requirements.
  • Additional duties: Perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.
