Responsibilities

• Provide support on-site in various process areas including truck escort, inspections, forklift operations, and spill response.
• Adhere to SET Environmental's safety policies, report incidents promptly, and follow proper safety procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and assist in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses and Site Safety Plans as needed.
• Comply with all site safety programs and regulations.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Provide support in various process areas on-site to include (may not be all inclusive)
  
  
  
  • Truck escort for transportation vendors/onsite projects
  
  
  • Compliance related inspections (i.spill kits, grounds/trench inspections)
  
  
  • Forklift operations for deliveries/pickups from waste storage area
  
  
  • On call coverage during the week and weekends
  
  
  • Miscellaneous tasks as requested
  
  
  
  


• Comply with SET Environmental's policies, safety rules, and procedures regarding the proper use of safety equipment and the safe work practices


• Report all incidents/injuries immediately (property damage, "near misses",etc.)


• Participate in safety meetings and preparation of Job Hazard Analysis and Site Safety Plans as needed


• Adhere to all aspects of applicable safety programs, site specific rules, and regulations


• Quickly and immediately perform spill responses as needed onsite

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)


• Hold a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record


• Obtain and keep current all certifications/licenses required(HAZWOPER, medical,respirator clearance, etc.)


• Strong communication skills and high focus on safety


• Ability to work safely and follow direction and procedures


• Willingness to take on additional tasks on demand
