Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting in Florida seeks an experienced Wound Care Nurse for a part-time, every-other-weekend role. You will assess wounds, develop and implement treatment plans, monitor infection, and document progress.

Responsibilities include weekly wound rounds, documenting measurements, educating patients and families, and supervising the Rehab CNA. A BSN or RN with Florida license and CPR/BLS is required, with IV certification preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Peripheral IV certification required.
• RN license in the state of Florida (or eligible) and BSN or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive care plan for skin impairments and update as needed.
• Weekly wound rounds and measurements with wound consultant/supervisor.
• Educate patients and families on wound care processes and issues.
• Supervise Rehab CNA and coordinate with rehab on resident skin care needs.
• Maintain facility wound tracking report and policy documentation.
