Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join as a Part-Time Wound Care Nurse, assessing, treating, and monitoring residents with acute and chronic wounds while working with an interdisciplinary team. The on-site role in Maitland, FL runs weekends only from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay between $35.00 and $43.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates will have an active Florida RN license, wound care experience, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to quality patient care and

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Active Florida RN license in good standing.
Wound care experience preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care treatment plans.
Provide care for pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, burns, and other wounds.
Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, dietics and other team members to optimize outcomes.
Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care.
