Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a dedicated RN to provide wound, ostomy, and continence care at our Florida facility. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care plan development, and direct patient care with emphasis on healing and education for patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred), and at least 1+ year in acute hospital and wound/ostomy care. BLS is required; CWCN/CWOCN/APRN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• 1+ acute hospital and 1+ wound/ostomy/continence clinical experience
• BLS certification required; CWCN/CWOCN/APRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and document individualized care plans.
• Provide wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Educate patients and families on care strategies and self-care.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide emergent and on-call care during weekends and holidays.
• Educate nursing staff; integrate evidence-based practices.
