Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Texas required.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
• Some experience as a charge RN or other leadership position strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day nursing operations of the facility.
• Ensure staffing is adequate to provide care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' needs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and nursing standards.
• Maintain patient safety as a top priority.
• Allocate nursing resources based on census and acuity.
• Provide mentoring and training to nursing staff.
• Coordinate all care including physician orders and diagnostic information.
• Document medical and behavioral health information and nursing care.
• Administer medications and maintain records per policies.
