Job summary

Stryten Energy in West Lampeter Township is hiring a Weekend-only Production Light Assembly Associate at $19.94 per hour plus a $1.80 night shift differential. The successful candidate will monitor product quality, perform light assembly, and package parts.

We seek dependable team players who can stand for entire shifts and demonstrate commitment to safety and quality. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for those entering or returning to the workforce.

Qualifications

• Must be a reliable team player respecting others’ attendance.
• Physically able to perform tasks such as standing, bending, and sorting.
• Must pass a drug test and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality coming out of injection molding machines.
• Check for visible defects ensuring quality standards.
• Perform light assembly, trimming, and packaging of parts.

Weekend-only Production Light Assembly Associate Needed!

$19.94 per hour

plus $1.80/hour shift differential for night shift

Shift available:

• Weekend Night (Friday 11pm - Saturday 11am and Saturday 11pm - Sunday 11am)

Stryten uses a proven plastic injection molding methodology to produce critical automotive, motive, and essential power battery components. Our light industrial facility in West Lampeter Township has 200 employees committed to living our values of Care, Challenge, Commit, Change, and Create.

Production Light Assembly Associates monitor product coming out of injection molding machines, clip/trim excess plastic, perform light assembly, and pack product in boxes. Associates will be standing for their entire shift, some jobs require reasonable bending and twisting to perform duties. Parts are all light weight.

Responsibilities

• Handling various types of plastic products
• Checking for visible defects to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform light assembly of parts
• Trimming
• Packaging
• Labeling
• Maintain acceptable established production rates
• Maintaining a safe and clean operation

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and understand English
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Follow all company safety rules and policies to include communicating any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents and or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately
• Team player - must be able to report to assigned shift knowing that co-workers depend on their attendance to meet goals
• Physically perform work – standing/moving for the entire shift, reasonable bending and twisting, sorting and packing
• Must be able to pass a drug test and be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Troubleshooting experience
