Job summary

Family Service Rochester (FSR) is seeking a compassionate professional to join our Aging Services team for weekend support in our Meals on Wheels program. This part-time role runs Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, focusing on operational and administrative support to ensure timely meal delivery to older adults.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree in business administration, management, or administrative support or related field and two (2) years of verifiable experience or equitable education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as experience using an EHR is preferred.
• Must be highly organized, possess analytical skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Someone who is detail oriented, flexible in changing priorities and have excellent follow-through is required as is strong written and oral communication.
• A valid driver's license, proof of insurance and dependable transportation are necessary for this position.

Responsibilities

• Responding to calls from coordinators and drivers to troubleshoot delivery issues and ensuring continuity of services by performing delivery routes when drivers are not available as well as resolving scheduling and service concerns.
• Communicating with kitchen staff regarding meal preparation issues as needed
• Managing documentation by processing client information such as discharge, EHR maintenance and reconciling records
• Assisting with special projects as needed.
