The Daily Wire is seeking an experienced Weekend News Editor to lead our newsroom's editorial coverage during weekends. Reporting to the Managing Editor, you’ll oversee breaking news and planned coverage, manage and mentor reporters, prioritize stories, and ensure every piece is timely, accurate, and aligned with The Daily Wire's editorial standards and mission.

Requirements & Experience

• Background in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong editorial judgment in news journalism
• Exceptional editing and fact-checking skills
• Ability to lead newsroom coverage with limited resources
• Deep understanding of news cycles, politics, and current events
• Ability to make sound decisions under deadline pressure
