The Daily Wire is seeking an experienced Weekend News Editor to lead our newsroom's editorial coverage during weekends. You will oversee breaking news and planned coverage, mentor reporters, and ensure every piece is timely, accurate, and aligned with our editorial standards and mission.

You will be the primary editorial decision-maker during weekend coverage, guiding coverage of the day’s most important stories while coordinating with multiple teams to maximize reach and impact.

Reporting to the Managing Editor, you'll oversee breaking news and planned coverage, manage and mentor reporters, prioritize stories, and ensure every piece is timely, accurate, and aligned with The Daily Wire's editorial standards and mission. As the primary editorial decision-maker during weekend coverage, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the speed, quality, and consistency our audience expects while guiding coverage of the day's most important stories.

Requirements & Experience

• Background in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, or related field preferred.

• Ability to make sound decisions under deadline pressure
