Job summary

Horizon House, Inc. is seeking a part-time Crisis Worker (weekend) for our Behavioral Health Services Division to support individuals experiencing mental health crises in a residential setting.

You will help participants set and pursue personal and treatment goals, assist with individual program plans, and coordinate services under supervision. The role requires strong communication, privacy awareness, and readiness to respond to emergencies when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and 3 years of mental health direct care experience or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of mental health systems and supports.
• Privacy regulations and guidelines for access, use, and disclosure.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accept participants at admission, complete documentation, and orient to facility routines.
• Familiarize with participant data and observe changes in health status.
• Monitor and support participants toward personal and treatment goals; counsel and aid in futures planning.
