Job summary

Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Event Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service for weddings, private events, and holiday parties. This role is event-specific and mainly scheduled during the peak season (April–October), with additional shifts for December holiday events.

You should be 21+, bring prior bartending experience or a willingness to obtain an alcohol service certificate, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prior bartending experience preferred; event or wedding experience a plus.
• Valid alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain before first shift).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in high-volume situations.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and break down bar stations for weddings and private events.
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails according to event menus and venue standards.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all state and local alcohol service laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the event.
• Provide friendly, polished, and professional guest service at all times.
• Communicate effectively with Banquet Captains and Event Managers during service.
• Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.
• Handle cash and/or point-of-sale systems accurately when applicable.
• Assist with end-of-event breakdown and restocking as needed.
