Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred; event or wedding experience a plus.
• Valid alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain before first shift).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in high-volume situations.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and break down bar stations for weddings and private events.
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails according to event menus and venue standards.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all state and local alcohol service laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the event.
• Provide friendly, polished, and professional guest service at all times.
• Communicate effectively with Banquet Captains and Event Managers during service.
• Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.
• Handle cash and/or point-of-sale systems accurately when applicable.
• Assist with end-of-event breakdown and restocking as needed.

Position Summary

The Event Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service during weddings, private events, and holiday parties. This role is event-specific and primarily scheduled during peak season (April–October), with additional shifts available for holiday events in December. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and break down bar stations for weddings and private events
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails according to event menus and venue standards
• Verify guest identification and comply with all state and local alcohol service laws
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the event
