Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work well with fresh, dried and/or processed products.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Cooperate with others and adhere to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area cleanliness and prepare for next shift.
• Handle damaged or returned items per policy, with emphasis on perishables.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity accuracy.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise as needed.
• Check prices and know item locations in the store.
