Job summary

ShopRite in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Receiver to deliver a great customer experience while maintaining a neat, safe warehouse. You will ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and support daily operations, with duties including verifying invoices, stocking, and assisting customers.

The role requires the ability to read, write, and speak English, basic math, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shifts.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness, neatness and preparing for next shift (i.e. make bale, reclamation, plastic and pallets).
• Handle damaged or return to stock products according to Company policy, prioritizing refrigerated items.
• Verify all invoices for accuracy involving cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet all Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment per QA standards.
