Job summary

ShopRite of Lacey in Lanoka Harbor, NJ is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a clean, safe warehouse. You will deliver a great customer experience while handling goods with care and following company policies.

The role requires stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic math, and strong teamwork. Part-time, non-union; benefits include medical, dental and vision plans, with a 401K option.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math accurately.
• Able to stand/walk for the full shift and lift 25 lbs regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and work with fresh products safely.
• Work well with others and maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Follow safety, QA and Department of Sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area for cleanliness and prepare for next shift.
• Handle damaged or returned items per policy, prioritizing perishables.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity accuracy.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist promotions and observe safety while operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Unload trucks and move merchandise as needed.
• Follow all company policies and health regulations.
