Job summary

ShopRite of Brunswick in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Receiver to deliver a great customer experience while safely and efficiently maintaining a neat, clean warehouse and ensuring accurate receiving of deliveries.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, read and write English, and work cooperatively with others while following safety and QA standards. This part-time, non-union role offers benefits after eligibility and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, speaks English fluently.
• Able to perform basic math operations.
• Able to stand/walk for scheduled shifts.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner and work with others.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area for cleanliness and readiness for next shift.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items per policy, prioritizing refrigerated items.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail, and quantity.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety, QA and sanitation standards.
• Unload trucks and move merchandise as required.
