Job summary

ShopRite of Bayville in Bayville, NJ is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and to maintain a clean, organized warehouse while delivering a great customer experience.

The role involves verifying invoices, handling damaged items, unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and working with others in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time, non-union position with benefits eligibility after a probation period.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products without allergies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area for cleanliness and readiness for next shift.
• Handle damaged or stock items according to policy.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist unloading trucks and stocking merchandise.
