Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to support inventory control and daily branch operations at our Saint Charles location.

You will handle receiving, picking, packaging, shipping and cycle counting, and may make local deliveries with a company vehicle as needed. The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must have a current full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Self-motivated, customer-service oriented
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Demonstrate Fastenal core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork
• Lift and carry 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs
• Pass drug screen where required in the US
• Preferred: experience with inventory receiving/shipping/sorting or management
