Northwest Respiratory Services in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Part Time Warehouse Assistant to join our team. You will assist with inventory control, order fulfillment, procurement, and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.

The role offers up to 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, verifying packing slips, data entry in Excel, and supporting service technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree required.
• Warehouse and/or HME experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to create Microsoft Word documents and proficient at data entry to established Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Inventory Control of products.
• Verify packing slip accuracy with purchase orders.
• Stock shelves and rotate inventory items; report shortages to manager.
• Maintain equipment repair processes; disinfecting, cleaning, reassembly.
• Fill daily work orders for UPS shipping readiness.
• Assist branch with timely shipment and cost-effective delivery methods.

This person will assist in managing inventory, shipping, procurement and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.This position offers a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week.Essential Duties and Responsibilites:Assists with Inventory Control of productsAs new products enter the warehouse verifies packing slip accuracy with purchase orderStock shelves, rotate inventory items as necessary, report shortages to manager.Maintain equipment repair processes, including disinfecting, cleaning, reassemblyFunction testing of reassembled equipment and placement back in inventory as patient readyFill daily work orders in a timely manner for UPS shipping readinessReport and take active part in measured improvement in processes to reduce incorrect deliveriesAssists team to ensure Branch orders are pulled accuratelyEnsure branch orders are shipped in a timely matter using the most cost-effective means.Communicate inventory needs to leadership based on established par levelsServe as a product availability and location resource to Customer Service, Service Technicians, and other team members.Assist with clerical activities including filing and maintaining of various established data bases including equipment repair log and other compliance records.Arrange procurement of CPAP/BiPAP and oximetry download dataDevelop and maintain a basic knowledge of NRS Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure ManualAttend annual training sessions and/or competency testsUnder the direct supervision of Director of RT assists with in house clients as appropriateAll other duties as assigned by branch manager.Compensation and Benefits:$20-$21 per hourHealth, Dental, Vision InsuranceEmployer Paid Life InsuranceMatched 401k Eligibility on Day One of EmploymentFSA Account (Medical and/or Dependent)Pet InsuranceShort Term and Long Term DisabilityAccident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness InsuranceVacation, sick, and paid holidaysFlexible start timesLocal routes.
