Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteers through community outreach, serving as a primary contact for volunteer inquiries.
• Conduct volunteer interviews, reference checks, and background screenings when required.
• Develop volunteer policies, updating them as needed.
• Conduct volunteer orientations and trainings; serving as the primary contact for all volunteers.
• Match volunteers with assignments based on their interests, skills, and the needs of residents.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop volunteer schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for activities, appointments and events.
• Monitor volunteer performance and provide coaching, guidance, and corrective action when necessary.
• Plan and coordinate volunteer appreciation events.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on volunteer participation, hours, and program effectiveness.
• Assist with organizing fundraising projects for the special needs of residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
