Job summary

Success Education Colleges (SEC) seeks highly qualified Registered or Licensed Vocational Nurses to teach part-time LIVE Clinical rotations at Glendale Career College in Glendale, CA. Qualifications

• Registered or Licensed Nurse, CA license active
• Teaching experience preferred but not required
• Excellent written and oral communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database and email

Responsibilities

• Accept complete responsibility for students in the clinical facility
• Teach a course load as assigned, including preparation for and instruction of clinical laboratory
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning
• Clarify daily clinical expectations with students during pre-conference
• Clarify student placement and expectations with clinical facility staff
• Make patient/student assignments meeting clinical objectives and patient needs
• Direct students in data collection and integration into clinical paperwork; provide resources to ensure critical thinking
• Coordinate daily plan with clinical site to observe, instruct, and evaluate students
• Direct post-conference to apply theory to clinical experiences; provide opportunities for students to share experiences
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback with clear objectives for improvement
