Job summary

The Museum of Flight in Seattle is seeking a Visitor Services Assistant to be the first point of contact for visitors, selling admissions and add-ons, and guiding guests through the campus. You will work across multiple areas, including the Aviation Pavilion, galleries, simulators, and private events, delivering a friendly, informative experience aligned with the museum’s mission.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months working or volunteering in a customer-oriented service environment required, one year preferred.
• Experience in a museum, theme park, or large crowd setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide a friendly, informative experience.
• Sell admission tickets and add-on experiences (tours, memberships, etc.).
• Provide venue information and guide guests across the campus.
• Maintain knowledge of events, exhibits, and add-ons to upsell effectively.
• Handle cash with accuracy and balance drawers as needed.
