Job summary

Wayfinder Family Services is seeking a part-time Visitation Coach Specialist in West Sacramento, CA. The role supports supervised visitation and parent coaching to strengthen parenting skills and family ties.

Primary responsibilities include facilitating visits, coaching parents, using NPP framework, and ensuring safety. A high school diploma is required; bilingual ability is highly preferred; valid CA driver's license is required. Up to 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Russian highly preferred.
• Experience with children, family and child welfare preferred.
• Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate visitation in the parent’s home, community or visitation office.
• Provide ongoing assessment and coaching to improve parent-child attachment.
• Use Protective Factors and NPP framework with families.
• Ensure safety and intervene to maintain safe environments.
• May transport clients as needed.
• Perform other duties as outlined in the position description.
