Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through their eyewear journey with care and expertise.

The role requires optical experience or ABO certification, a high school diploma, and license readiness as required by state regulations. You will drive daily sales, advise on products, measure customers for eyewear, and support store operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals through excellent customer/patient experience.
• Engage with patients to recommend products meeting eye care needs.
• Take measurements for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Support store operations and open/close as needed.
