Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through eyewear choices with warmth and expertise. This part-time role combines sales performance with customer care, requiring optics knowledge and friendly, human service.

You’ll meet daily sales goals, advise on products, and support store operations to ensure a smooth patient journey. Ideal candidates have optical experience or ABO certification, HS diploma, and a customer-focused

Qualifications

12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
Related customer or patient experience preferred.
HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training.
Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals.
