Job summary

Visionworks of America seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through the Visionworks experience with expert product knowledge and friendly service.

Requirements include 12 months optical experience (or ABO) and a HS diploma. Licensing per state guidelines may be needed. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed).

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including opening and closing in LEAD roles.
