Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our brand. You will guide customers through the eyewear journey, combining optical knowledge with a human and bold approach to meet individual needs.

The role focuses on achieving sales goals while delivering exceptional patient experiences. Training, product knowledge, and a commitment to DE&I are emphasized, with opportunities for remote/hybrid options in certain markets.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Executeday-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
