Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through their eyewear journey with expertise in optics and customer service.

You will drive sales, assist customers with product selection, and help ensure a seamless Visionworks experience. The ideal candidate has 12 months of optical industry experience or ABO certification, and holds or is willing to obtain the necessary state licenses if applicable.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and ensure proper fit and knowledge through training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions only
