Visionworks is seeking an OD Tech/Optometric Assistant in Lexington, KY to be the friendly face of our exam practice. You will guide patients through the initial steps, provide health knowledge, and ensure a smooth journey from check-in to product education.

The role emphasizes customer care, proper record keeping, and collaboration with OD and sales teams to meet eye care needs. Part-time hours with a strong benefits mindset are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient service preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records before testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and relay important info to OD.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor with necessary info.
• Support lane maintenance: restock inventory, clean equipment, answer phones.
• Open/close the store to support business as needed.
