Job summary

Visionworks in Pittsburgh is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead who will be the face of our store, trained in optics and vision care, guiding customers through the Visionworks experience to meet eyewear needs in a simple, human and bold way.

The role delivers daily sales results, engages with patients, recommends products and services, and maintains eyewear expertise through ongoing training while supporting store operations such as restocking and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training to ensure Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day store operations including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate:$12.82 - 17.29 per hr

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

·Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey

·Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs

·Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time

·Executeday-to-dayoperational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

·12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience

· Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary

·HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
