Job summary

Visionworks in Miami, FL is seeking a friendly Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the welcoming face of the exam practice. You will assist with preliminary testing, record keeping, and guiding patients from the exam to product selection with a human, helpful approach.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, high school diploma or GED, and a passion for eye care. The role offers part-time hours, in-store training, and opportunities to grow with our team.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience is preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates with information to educate and recommend products.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the exam lane and patient experience goals, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
