Job summary

Visionworks Florida is seeking a charismatic Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will guide patients through the Visionworks journey, perform preliminary testing, and connect them with the OD and sales team.

Duties include maintaining patient records, supporting exam lane operations, restocking inventory, answering phones, and educating customers about eye care options.

Qualifications

• Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and inform staff to educate and recommend products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals.
