Job summary

OCA Media, a non-profit public access station in Oregon, Wisconsin, seeks a part-time Production Assistant & Content Manager to support community media. The role covers video production, live event coverage, broadcasting, and media education for the Oregon community.

The ideal candidate works independently and as part of a team, enjoys video production, and mentors student camera operators while using Telvue software to manage schedules and create promotional content.

Qualifications

• Experience in video production and broadcasting is preferred.
• Comfortable teaching and mentoring student camera operators.
• Reliable, creative, technically minded and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage programming on two cable TV channels using Telvue.
• Edit event recordings for rebroadcast and produce promotional videos.
• Train and mentor high school camera operators and supervise coverage.
• Provide video coverage for community events when volunteers are unavailable.
• Assist in producing original OCA Media programming and related visuals.
