Job summary

Oregon State University’s Division of Ecampus seeks an Information Technology Consultant 3: Video Producer to join a creative, collaborative Multimedia team. You will plan, film, edit, and deliver high-quality content for online courses, coordinating with faculty and subject matter experts across disciplines.

The role blends technical video production with creative storytelling, ensuring accessibility and branding standards while managing multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires AA degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications or related fields or equivalent coursework with at least 1 year of experience.
• Demonstrated work experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder or similar software.
• Experience with video filming and production equipment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience with documentation or technical writing.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Produce video content for online courses, both in studio and on location.
• Manage multiple concurrent video projects from pre-production to final delivery.
• Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to create engaging multimedia solutions.
• Ensure quality and accessibility, following branding and WCAG AA standards including transcription and captioning workflows.
• Operate and troubleshoot video production equipment and software, contributing to tool selection and workflow decisions.
