Job summary

Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to support our Animal Health business. You will process prescriptions, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with veterinarians and internal teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and strong client relationships in a warehouse-like pharmacy setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with active licensure and excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school.
• Strong communication, detail orientation and time management.
• Licensure with State Board of Pharmacy; reciprocal licensure ability.

Responsibilities

• Compliant prescription processing meeting regulatory requirements.
• Validate accuracy of prescriptions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a secure, clean pharmacy/warehouse environment.
• Set direction, prioritize, and communicate with sales and leadership.
• Partner with veterinarians and staff to build strong relationships.
• Lead and mentor staff, manage workload and performance reviews.
