Patterson is hiring a part-time Pharmacist to support our Animal Health business. You will work closely with internal teams and veterinarian clients, with no weekends, evenings, or holidays required.

Responsibilities include compliant prescription processing, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a safe warehouse environment while collaborating with sales and leadership to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current state Board of Pharmacy license with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• English language proficiency: read, write, speak effectively.
• Good computer skills with various applications.

Responsibilities

• Compliant prescription processing: ensure all prescriptions dispensed meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing.
• Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and address discrepancies.
• Maintain secure, clean, and safe pharmacy/warehouse.
• Support business planning: set direction, prioritize, allocate resources, meet deadlines.
• Problem solve to identify and resolve issues in operations.
• Communicate with veterinarians and staff to build strong relationships.
• Mentor staff and contribute to performance reviews.
