Job summary

Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to support our Animal Health business. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and veterinarian clients to ensure accurate, compliant prescription processing in a warehouse setting.

Key requirements include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, strong communication, attention to detail, and an active state license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses. No weekends, no evenings, and no holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly.
• Attention to detail with ability to problem solve effectively.
• Superior service-orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Current state Board of Pharmacy license with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states.

Responsibilities

• Compliant Prescription Processing: Ensure prescriptions dispensed meet regulatory requirements.
• Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse.
• Set direction and priorities, allocate resources, meet deadlines.
• Mentor staff and support performance reviews.
