Job summary

Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to support our Animal Health division. Work closely with veterinarian clients and internal teams in a warehouse-pharmacy environment. No weekends, no evenings, no holidays.

Role focuses on compliant prescription processing, business planning, and people management to support patient care and operational excellence. Requires Pharm.D./BS in Pharmacy and active license with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Proficient computer skills across various applications
• Strong communication skills, clear and concise
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
• Current State Board of Pharmacy license with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states

Responsibilities

• Compliant Prescription Processing: Ensure prescriptions meet regulatory requirements; validate accuracy; provide feedback to maintain safe processing; maintain secure pharmacy/warehouse
• Business Planning: Set priorities, allocate resources, meet deadlines; analyze issues and propose solutions; coordinate with leadership and sales to resolve issues
• People Management: Mentor staff, evaluate performance, conduct reviews, resolve issues; motivate and develop team; define roles and workloads
