Job summary

Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our Animal Health team. You’ll work closely with veterinarians and internal teams to dispense prescriptions accurately in a warehouse setting. No weekends, no evenings, and no holidays.

Must have a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy with strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and attention to detail. This role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and high-quality service in animal care.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Strong computer skills with various applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to the audience.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Customer/service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Active Pharmacist license with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prescriptions meet all regulatory requirements.
• Provide feedback to maintain safe prescription processing.
• Validate accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain secure, clean pharmacy/warehouse environment.
• Set direction, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with veterinarians and office staff to build relationships.
• Mentor staff and support performance reviews.
