Job summary

Patterson is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our team, supporting our Animal Health business and collaborating with veterinarians and internal teams. This role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service in a warehouse-style setting.

Typical duties include ensuring prescriptions meet regulatory requirements, providing feedback for safe processing, and maintaining a secure, organized workspace. English proficiency and a current pharmacist license are required.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
Proficiency with computer applications.
Strong communication and ability to convey information clearly.
Attention to detail with problem-solving ability.
Active Board of Pharmacy license with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states.

Responsibilities

Ensure all prescriptions dispensed meet federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
Provide constructive feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing.
Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on discrepancies.
Maintain secure, clean, and safe pharmacy/warehouse environment.
